Independence day our style

Last year we had a party. You can see more about it here. We had friends and family over and my husband still can’t get over the fact that it was the 4th of July and we were jamming to Latin Music. I still laugh about it because the whole music thing didn’t even face me until the end of the party when everyone had gone home that he finally decided to tell me…

Anyhow, this year I do feel like I deserve some credit for trying to be more American

The family has been at a resort up in the mountains for the week. It was nice spending the holiday there.

We enjoyed our favorite activity as a family and for a matter fact, the only game I play. My kids have spent countless hours on the court; tennis is more like second nature to them. We like to think one of them will make it to Wimbledon around the 2020’s. That is, if little E, gets over the fact, that we forgot her racket and she had to handle big people’s rackets that are not pink…”

You can see more of us and Tennis here

And because it’s Utah and there is no ocean, I have to justify that absence by spending every single day at the pool, whether in the city or up in the mountains. 8bc05b62c61f11e1af7612313813f8e8_7

I can’t lie: there was a bit of Latin music going on, too…you know..old habits! (ha!)

How was your 4th?
