This week’s FAVORITES

Hi Friends! Hope you are having a great weekend. Just a reminder to not forget to enter my newest giveaway here.

And now unto my Favorites for this week:

Yellow and stripes? I think I could pull it off. And aren’t those shoes to die for? I have a birthday coming up and I think this is the outfit I need to work on putting together!

Imagine waking up every morning to find notes like this one on your coffee mug? If you like the idea, spray paint a mug with chalk paint.

You know I like buckets, one more way in which I can use my buckets and keep the “mess” organized. Hang them from a curtain rod next to their working station. I will be doing this for sure.

It’s officially snowing as I type this post. I am not so sure about how I feel except that if the view outside my window would be this, I would like it to snow anytime. Been there. Neuschwanstein Castle in the Bavaria region of Germany. Absolutely GORGEOUS inside and out. My daughter was just a 7-month-old baby at the time, but if she remembered, she would be very happy to know that she actually has been to the real Cinderella castle.  I want to go back there again…this time when it snows.

Another reason why Germany is one of my favorite countries in the world. Because you get to do this! Wouldn’t doing this be SO MUCH FUN?

I am always looking for simple and fast recipes to make. Crescent rolls with cream cheese and raspberry filling. Isn’t crescent rolls about one of the best inventions out there?

Don’t think I’m forgetting about Fall. I bought my mini pumpkins a while back. Gotta get the mini acorns and some small fall flowers and I am close to completing this project. This would be a perfect centerpiece for your Thanksgiving dinner table.

Some cool project where Ballerinas where photographed along different sites in New York City. This one in  particular done at 6 am in East Village. I would probably miss my train as I stand mesmerized watching the whole thing unfold (and wishing it was me hanging from that traffic light).

And why don’t we all try a little harder to live by this motto? I rather be known for making someone happy than for the trendy clothes and the nice car I own.

  3. Those shoes are super cute! I want them! Love Neuschwanstein I was there a few years ago (when I was studied abroad in Northern Germany) and it was beautiful! But the trek up and down was hard (but maybe with the baby you took the carriage up?

  5. You had me at the chalkboard paint mug. I actually posted once about how I don't like chalkboard paint on walls, but this I adore.

What a sweet way to brighten up the morning.

    Have a fabulous weekend!

  7. Love this post! So much fun! And Neuschwanstein is still one of my absolute favorite places in Germany! I think we're going to go out there in December, so hopefully we'll get to see it with snow! I also really want to do the bubble thing, but I think they only offer it at a certain time, and we might already be gone by then! Boooo.
And... love the outfit. Yellow and stripes together looks so cute!

And oh my goodness I have been to Neuschwanstein Castle in December and it was covered in snow and snowing hard while we were there. MAGICAL!! Loved it so much and can't wait to bring my family back one day!

  10. I can't believe how much wonderfulness you managed to pack into a single post! This is great. I've never heard of "chalk paint" but I'm in! That's a great idea, as is the bucket idea.
Here from FLOB comment love day.
And beware if you're planning on hanging from traffic lights, I think that ballerina had to be chiseled off the light after getting stuck to all the gum and nastiness.
