Don’t mean to overload you with pictures but I absolutely had the best time planning and hosting Baby’s 2nd Birthday party. Hope you enjoy!
These mini milk cartons from Horizon are what inspired me to do this party. Every once in a while they go on sale here for $1.00 each. But right before this party they went on sale, a package of 3 for $1.28. WOW!! My kids love this brand better than any other and for that price: what a DEAL! This outdoor drink bucket from Pottery Barn turned out to be the perfect place to put them in.
Best cake EVER from this place.
(Also see the can milk jar with the flowers? Thrift store find: a buck!)
Another view with also the banner I made with scrapbook and cardstock paper and the letter designs by I- don't- know- what- I- would- do- without- you type of relative. She also designed the tags for favor, food labels, napkin rings and the cake topper. I’m so lucky to have her!
I wanted milk jar cookies and just like the cake, they were able to recreate that for me. YUM!
The glass cookie jars you see on display were also some of those perfect finds at the thrift store. (1.00 each)
And I had to vary the all-cookie menu and make my signature banana bread. See recipe here
Vintage milk jugs: Another awesome find from the thrift store. (.50 each)
The little glass bottles with the straws are actual frapuccino bottles. These are kind of pricey but total happiness for a coffee lover like my friend Michelle, since all their content went to her and all I had to worry about was removing the Starbucks labels and washing them.
The favors for each kid consisted of brown lunch bags filled with all kinds of goodies. Pink ribbon and a cute “Thank you” tag glued to them and VOILA!
And then here come the family and our group of friends who’ve always been there for me and my family, and we go waaaayyyy back!
My gorgeous girls

My darling Michelle and baby Aidan. My kids seriously believe Aidan is theirs. And of course Baby drinking her favorite stuff.
Barranquilla is in the House

Some random shots
Baby and her best friend Bella: They are the best comedy in town together.
Couldn’t find or had the time to make a cookie piñata so I bought one of those number 2 shaped piñata that come in a bunch of crazy carnival colors and covered it completely in off white crepe paper and glued the brown dots (chocolate chips) to it. After all why put so much work into something that is mean to be destroyed?? By the way, when it comes to Piñatas, the kids sure take it seriously but parents even more. See the parents below ;)
Gifts of love
“Party was so FUN but all I want to do is continue eating cookies and more cookies for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If I give you this look Mami, will you say YES???”
