Feliz Navidad

Our tradition is to celebrate BIG on Christmas Eve. It's when we have the best dinner and we open the gifts from Niño Dios (Baby Jesus). But because our family is bicultural we also celebrated big on the 25th with Amor's side of the family, so that means we get a double dosage of everything, dinner, family and GIFTS!
We had beloved friends over for our Noche Buena celebration. We had such a late night that we didn't wake up until 10:30 the next morning (Just imagine how late we went to bed!). We opened our gifts from Santa and then headed to see family and more family and there were more and more rounds of gift openings. The kids got great gifts, they are loved, they are blessed to have so much!

La mesa de los postres: Flan, Arroz con leche. Cocktail de frambruesa exquisito!
Desert Table: Flan, rice pudding (In the American way rice pudding is the closest you can get to Arroz con Leche in taste and texture but they are really not the same thing), and raspberry sherbert cocktail (virgen of course!)

We had to put some of the men to work!!

Even Tuti made it to our Noche Buena Celebration and she was for the kids the HIT of the party!

Mi arbolito con todo listo a las 4:00 am antes de irme a dormir. My tree ready with the Santa gifts @ 4 am right before I went to bed...

There was too much going on the next day, and although I have pictures with every gift we got I think you get the idea so enjoy this small sample of a Very Merry Christmas after all!!!
Can you say HOLY MAKE UP!!!

A WII!!!!!!!!!!!! and just dance of course!!

My Boys!

A tea party at midnight? really? but how could I resist if that's the cutest tea set I've ever seen!
